TOKYO, October 15, 2020 ― FUJIFILM Corporation (President: Kenji Sukeno) has unveiled the latest development roadmap for interchangeable lenses for the X Series of compact and lightweight mirrorless digital cameras, which offer outstanding image quality based on the company’s proprietary color reproduction technology. The latest roadmap shows the addition of two new lenses, i.e. a large-diameter wide angle prime lens and a telephoto zoom lens.
Since launching its first mirrorless digital camera in 2012, Fujifilm has actively added new products to expand the X Series range. At the same time, the lineup for XF interchangeable lenses, designed for the X Series, has been rapidly expanded. XF lenses’ superior descriptive performance and mobility have won the support of professional photographers and photo enthusiasts alike. Newly added to the roadmap are a large-diameter wide-angle prime lens and a telephoto zoom lens, establishing a 37-lens lineup covering extensive focal lengths from ultra-wide angle to ultra-telephoto.
